Founder & Builder, Sally Homes.

With over 14 years of experience in the luxury real estate and home building industry, Sally Awad has built a reputation as a trusted partner for families across North and South Carolina looking to build a home that truly fits their life.

Originally from Egypt, Sally relocated to the Carolinas more than 20 years ago, where she quickly recognized a need for a more refined, client-focused approach to how homes are bought, sold, and built. Her early mastery of strategic pricing and market analytics became a defining strength — helping her understand not just what a home is worth, but what makes a home worth building well.

That understanding of the market, combined with a career built on top-tier results, eventually led her to found Sally Homes: a custom home building company grounded in the same principles that built her reputation — integrity, discretion, and genuine care for every client, regardless of price point.

Sally holds an MBA in Finance from Bellevue University and has earned numerous professional designations reflecting her depth of market knowledge, including credentials in luxury home marketing, strategic pricing, and relocation services. She is fluent in Arabic.

Sally lives in Charlotte with her husband and three children. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, music, and baking homemade desserts. She is passionate about giving back, partnering with Give Hope Global and supporting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Her mission is simple: to give every client the best possible experience building a home — blending market expertise, thoughtful strategy, and a people-first approach.

With more than two decades of experience in financial management and reporting, Tim Ali brings a level of financial discipline to custom home building that's rare in the industry. His background is in identifying budget and cost variances, improving processes, and resolving issues before they become problems — skills that translate directly into homes built on budget and on schedule, without surprises along the way.

Tim is dedicated to maintaining financial clarity and accountability throughout every project. Through careful planning and rigorous cost tracking, he ensures that every client has accurate, timely visibility into their build, so they can make informed decisions from groundbreaking to move-in day.

At Sally Homes, Tim oversees budgeting, forecasting, and financial operations — the behind-the-scenes structure that lets the build team focus on craftsmanship, knowing the numbers are handled with precision and integrity.
